Kholiwe Thanjekwayo

If there was an option for a zero I would certainly rate that. I’ve made a follow-up on an order placed with Telkom and to I was told that there is an amount outstanding from 2019 Acc I had. I’ve told them that I had paid the last payment on the account that was due on the day I spoke to a Sihle from Telkom call centre in Durban. I cannot recall what I was trying to obtain at the time when I was advised that I had an outstanding account from a router I had taken, which I even hardly used. Sihle gave me the amount and I paid immediately thereafter dropping the phone. To my surprise I’m now told that there is an amount outstanding which sadly I cannot even retrieve proof of payment thereof considering that this was a 2019/2020 account. I was advised to contact Billing I spoke to a Kholiwe who from the onset had a very bad attitude, she kept on jnterrrupting and repeating the same thing, and you could tell she didn’t even care how she was responding. I’ve requested that she escalates the matter because there is no way that I will be paying Telkom another R1600 after I’ve already paid the settlement amount to this account on the day I spoke to Sihle. She said nothing can be escalated I just need to pay the account. I could hear someone talking on her background I requested to speak to her supervisor whom she told me his name was Darryl, Kholiwe kept me on the line for 51 minutes, not even to come and say I’m still waiting to connect you, instead on three occasions that she put of the ‘waiting’ music I could only hear her speaking to someone. Clearly not all agents can work unsupervised and it’s sad that when you request to have your matter escalated that you could be made to wait for such a long time with no explanation at all.
