Just to make a quick sale.

to whom it may concern

about a month or so ago i receive a call from a Raheesa Sheik from T-connect, she has sold me this story about being a good client and would like to upgrade me to uncapped package for R599 a month, i however agreed & asked her how it would work, she assured me that it all changes automatically and i wouldnt have to worry about any admin, (which obviously was a lie just to make a sale.), i am currently paying R399 on my 40gb bundle package. i must say i was not informed about all the extra's, so they had a technician come out to instal the ADSL line, 1st of all he had no line inorder for him to extend to a place i wanted it, when i had asked him questions about the wifi, all he said was cal 10210 to activate. when i call the number they told me that my case still pending, and they cannot give me information, the Ref number i received does not exist, and they sent to my mothers phone and not mine. when i ask for Raheesa Sheik nobody knows her, and the call centre consultants have no patience at all when asking questions, not every1 is clued up with these packages telkom is selling, but they do not put themselves in your shoes to help you understand, they automatically assume u should know what is what when calling in & guess what telkom staff themselves are not clued up with their own product, yet they want to sell it, I than decided to go into a telkom store, when i got there the agent tells me i will be paying for both packages and need to cancel the existing one 1st, also told me i need to pay R400 admin as i am changing the package, also that i will be paying for the modem that comes with the router, in the sale from the call centre none of this was said to me. so i cancelled the new deal. as all these surprise charges popped up. Please could you educate your staff to give clients full information, as the next client will not have the patience i did. Telkom stores on a weekend has 3 people working and we stand in queues for over an hour to be assisted, dont you know most people only have time on a weekend to sort out issues yet you have more staff working during the week than on a weekend when its your busiest time. please could someone collect the new router and modem as i will not be held responsible should anything happen to it. 7days is to long for it to be collected.
