Just no to telkom mobile

In the case of originality great job My friend wants to move from prepaid to contract on telkom mobile and was assured this would come into effect within 24 hours when his number would be moved to the new contract sim This is no longer possible as they apparently "lost" his number and cannot use it again, never in my life have I heard that a number goes missing in a sim swap. This is just pathetic
