Items advertised on website always out of stock

I called the Telkom call centre mobile sales (10213) and spoke to Lethu about the Samsung S4 mini that I ordered online and informed him that I was unable to complete transaction online. He promptly informed me that the item is discontinued and out of stock for telephonic sales but may be available at other stores. How does Telkom get away with this type of false advertising on their website? Last month I was interested in the S3 mini and the same thing happened , I was told it was out of stock. This is poor service from Telkom for not bothering to update their website and for letting their customers get the run around from their stores. Should every Telkom store not have a standard service offering? This is the worst, most complacent company to deal with.
