For the past two days I have been struggling with internet connection. I called Telkom numerous times yesterday to try and sort it out. I eventually decided to go to the actual store this morning (Greenacres Mall, Port Elizabeth), my word! After the consultant took my LTE sim and put it in her phone and told me that I had enough data and it was working fine. I had to fight with her to double check and be sure of what she was saying, cause I knew for a fact it wasn't working. She came back and said the data wasn't connecting to the internet. I then asked her to give me my options cause this has been a great inconvenience to me as I haven't been able to work for the past two days.
She told me that she could do a swim swap but that doesn't guarantee that it would connect. I asked if they could transfer my data to my daily sim, she said no, as it is not an LTE sim.
She then gave me an option of getting another LTE sim card, where I could transfer the data to, but I would only be able to transfer one gig a day and I wouldn't be able to transfer my night data at all. Firstly, how on earth am I expected to work with one gig a day? Do you guys know what my data usage is on a daily, for you to even insinuate that a gig a day would suffice. Secondly, the package I took gave day and night data, how am I know forfeiting my night data that was fully paid for due to and ISP problem.
Frankly the options I was given are not helpful at all, they do not assist me in anyway! I paid for that data, I expect to be assisted accordingly by my ISP at all times especially when the issue stands with them. At this point all I want is my money back and nothing more and you can keep your data cause clearly this issue is overwhelming for you to sort out. I have lost two full days of work because of an ISP issue. I shouldn't have to be running around like a headless chicken over something that is so simple and straightforward, especially during these trying times.
I feel like I have exhausted all channels possible to get this matter sorted out.
I expect someone to contact me with an actual work around for this issue!
