IS TELKOM RIPPING THEIR LAND LINE CUSTOMERS OR IS THIS A GIMMICK FOR CUSTOMERS TO BUY A NEW CELLPHONE
I have taken a contract home phone with Telkom, since two weeks ago there is a message on the home phone emergency calls not, SIM card not connected, I took the phone to the Killarney branch and I was told to do a sim swap, the technician did do a thorough check but the only place I can do a sim swap is at the Rosebank branch I then take it to the Rosebank branch and was told that there is a pin where the battery fits against, I did not take my glasses with me so I could not see it properly, I asked them what can I do now, they tell me there is nothing they can do, I have to buy a new phone and they don’t have it in stock, this is the second time it happened last time I had to buy a new phone only to find out that the aerial was not connecting properly, this is a contract I signed for a home phone and I pay a fee every month, IS TELKOM HAVING A GIMMICK TRYING TO SELL THEIR LATEST PHONES AS NOW I AM A PAYNG CUSTOMER WITH NO GOODS TO ACCOUNT FOR MY LANDLINE NUMBER IS *** or maybe I just cancel my home phone line
