Is Telkom involved in card *****?

I purchased data to the value of R 1055 using my debit card on Telkom's website. The card wasn't VISA VERIFIED ready for on-line purchases, so the transaction cancelled. I then used my other card, and the transaction was succesful, we were notified by bank, and money went off our available balances. However Telkom did not give us the data. We have made countless calls to Telkom, got FNB to supply us proof of the transaction which we mailed to Telkom, however TELKOM by way of Charmaine Ma***o (C) ********** REFUSES to give us the data and refuses to accept the proof from FNB, effectively *****ING our money or committing card *****. We supp**** contact details for FNB and the lady who gave the proof, and we asked Charmaine to phone FNB card division to confirm, but she refuses, stating: "this is how TELKOM works". We cannot reverse the payment at the bank, as Telkom has to approve the reversal, but they claim the payment wasn't made. Charmaine is ******** as to how card transactions work, and in a position she seems unqualified for. Their system shows the first transaction (Not VISA VERIFIED ready card) that was cancelled, but it seems their systems doesn't cater for repeating the transaction with a different card, in that it takes the money, but doesn't record the succesful transaction. However their REFUSAL to acknowledge that the transaction went through DESPITE FNB proving it to them, means be VERY afraid of TELKOM, at this stage it seems like card *****.

I asked Charmaine by email how it is possible that a transaction that is cancelled by TELKOM, as she claimed it was, still managed to reserve the money on my card. She never rep****. She also does not understand that when a card transaction goes through, the money is reserved initially and goes off one's available balance, and she refuses to speak to the bank to confirm.

Thanks Keagan, pity it is only responded to now. We finally managed to get FNB to reverse the reservation of the funds, and I have purchased new data at your Telkom Cape Gate shop. The trouble is that I will now in future never make any on-line purchases with Telkom, as I cannot trust that Telkom will provide me with the item/service I purchased. This could have been sorted out amicably if Charmaine Ma***o was willing to interact with FNB on the matter.
