Is cheapness worth it

Telkom mobile may be the cheap way to go but the switch from vodacom to telkom has been a regretful one.

I should have seen it as a bad omen when the phone I wanted wasn't available when i went into the store and when i eventually received it, it was without the promised powerbank. That was sorted out after being forced to take my contract to another Telkom store. However since I've been on this horrible network i am "unavailable" to people on the vodacom network and also to some Telkom mobile people. Go figure. I've had to log a case for this and have followed up numerous times about the status of the problem only to receive ridulous feedback of the case being logged incorrectly or to the wrong department. I've also been told that tech people would call me back at the time i preferred only to call and find out that they dont work at that time. It's been a month now where family and friends can't get hold of me because my number doesn't exist. Which is an obvious problem especially since we don't stay in the same province. Telkom certainly doesn't care about their customers and this problem is definitely not going to be resolved anytime soon. . . Because it's Telkom after all.
