Irregular/Unauthorized debit order

Telkom lodged a debit order on 15 August 2024 on my account without any prior agreement and/or authorization. Further to that, an amount that was not even due (only due on 31 August 2024) was also included in this irregular debit order. When I contacted Telkom via their call centre a very rude call agent told me that this is how things are done at Telkom and that she was not asking me but telling me. Utterly despicable service.
