I participated in the 40mb pilot in my area. At the end of the pilot, Telkom persuaded me to contract to a 30mb line. I have been paying for a 30mb line for the last few years and have made endless complaints regarding the instability of their internet service. Does Telkom really believe that working people have 45 minutes to hold onto call centre lines? Do they believe that sending an sms to say 'fault restored' really means that a repair has been made? If a test is run during the 10% of the day that there is service, that does NOT resolve the issue. My most recent complaint saw a technician arrive who advises that my house is so far from the exchange that the 30mb line will NEVER work! So he dropped it to a 10mb line. Even that does NOT work. But of course, if you have the internet long enough to go onto their website to escalate the fault, it allows you to capture all the details before the message \sorry this is not available
