Internet outage for a week (and counting)!!!

I logged a faullt on Sunday after not having DSL connection since mid-last week. Been stuck on "In Progress" status since then with no end in sight. My area is still waiting for fibre installation and my mobile Wifi device is dying out on me while I have to buy data all the time though I pay my account religiously. How the ... am I supposed to work???
