International roaming nightmare

Why is it so hard to get basic customer service from Telkom Mobile? I have to make an overseas trip (as I do quite regularly for work) and trying to activate international roaming has been a nightmare. I went in to a branch only to be told that they couldn't help me and I should phone the call centre and then when I called the call centre I was told they couldn't help me I needed to go into a branch!<br> <br> Vodacom lets you activate roaming with an SMS.
