Insurance period was not mentioned

<p>I have got a phone on contract and I further called customer care to find out how long do I have to also request insurance on a Hauwei P8 Lite (2017). The consultant told me it would be R63pm and I have 30 days to register for insurance and gave me a number to call to do it over the phone. It has been 27 days and I call in at lunch time to register. I am told that I have to register at the store and not over the phone and that my time to register has passed because by right I have a 7 day period.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am now stuck with a phone without insurance and there's nothing I can do which is a very big inconvience for me right now. All because of false information I was given.</p>
