Insurance added without my consent and billed for it.

I am very dissappointed with terrible customer service I have received from Telkom.

I took out a cellphone contract on the 31st Jan 2017 and I told the consultant at the store not to add insurance but he can give out my number to the insurance people to call and explain. But that never happened and I did not accept any insurance.

First (FEB) invoice came and fine there was no insurance added. On the 8th of March, I checked my statement online and to my surprise I see that I have been billed for insurance. I mmediately that day I called Telkom to seek clarity, I spoke to Nokwanda, John, Sibusiso around 14:20 pm and they couldn't assist me, they transferred me to Finrisc and I spoke to Jeniffer. I explained everything to Jeniffer and she cancelled this policy and gave me a referrence number ********** 32017, Jennifer then told me that when it comes to billing there is nothing she can do, so I will have to speak to Telkom. On the 9th I called Telkom again to confirm if the insurance is removed and if it won't go off my bank account but couldn't get a straight answer. On the 13th March I called Telkom again because they have emailed me an invoice still reflecting the insurance, I was assissted by Samora and he only then logged a query ( ********** 7) and said I will get feedback within 72 working hours. On the 17th March I called again because noone called me back, I spoke to Sinabo transferred to Tsepho Mo***eng and he assured me that he sent en escalation email and said I will get feedback within 5 days. 23rd of March I called again because Telkom was silent and I was told I will get a call back from Lambert. On the 28th of March it was me again calling, because no call was received from Telkom. I spoke to Linda Ndlovu explain the situaution all over again but she wasn't helpful at all. because after all the efforts calling , being on the phone more than 30 mins and the inconvenience, she told me there's nothing she can do to prevent the debit order going off. She said her team leader will call me back but that never happened. 31st March the debit order went off and the insurance fee included. Today 06 April 2017 I call Telkom for a refund, spoke to Mpumi explained the whole situation and she read me some notes that are put on the system by the billing department, saying that I must contact Finrisc for the refund because she can't do anything from her side , she gave me the number of Finrisc ********** 881 and I asked to be transferred. I spoke to Jeniffer again at Finrisc requesting her to authorise a refund and to check who **********ly opened this insurance under my name. She couldn't give me the name and the said she doesn't deal with debit orders I must contact Telkom.

I am sick and tired of being sent form pillar to post, Telkom please refund me my money and stop telling about people (FINRISC) I don't have business with, you have no problem issuing an invoice and debiting my account but when it comes to a refund I must suffer. Your customer service is pathetic.
