Installation (non Existent), Billed Pro-Rate ( Telkom making Money)

Hi Everyone

Who ever is reading this good luck and also be aware.

I ordered the Unlimited home 10mps package with Telkom on 04/05/2018 in the Afternoon. Get a few sms's regarding Telkom and that they are happy and so on. Then on Monday they let me know they received my order on 07/05/2018 great right, wrong. They tell me I must contact them on (10213) within 3 Business days for progress. Then I phone them on 08/05/2018 because I received an sms telling me I will be Billed pro-rata from 08/05/2018. But here is the kicker I don't have a Telkom line yet, nobody has been to my house for installation or contacted me regarding when installation will take place.

I phone them and ask why I am being Billed they told me it was wrong to be billed and need to dispute it to get my money back. When will that be? after you have taken my money for the pro-rata and then after 60 days payed back into my account think not.

Then I find something more interesting. A guy named Desmond signed me up on the 04/05/2018 and told me installation will take 7-10 working days which is fine they are busy. Then I find out on 08/05/2018 that no the installation department says otherwise it is 14-21 working days for installation, there is a 14 working day difference and I am being billed from 08/05/2018 as well for a service that I will only be able to use in MID JUNE 2018.

So a basic breakdown is

04/05/2018 - Placed order for Unlimited home with Desmond (7-10 working days for installation) 07/05/2018 - Order was only received from Telkom and that they are busy with placing the order. 08/05/2018 - Get sms being billed pro-rata from 08/05/2018. Finance department tells me to dispute the amount. Installation department tells me installation will be 14-21 working days, then tell me Pro-rata must only be from installation day ( MID-JUNE)

Thanks Telkom Hope to hear from one of your managers or directors telling me how sorry you are for not knowing how to run a company with after-sales service and also inter-sales service.

Why not be honest from the start.
