Installation booked and confirmed but no-show

So Telkom books an installation date...confirms the date...but never shows up and doesn't even call to arrange. I had to pay someone to come sit at my house the entire day to wait for them...can I now bill Telkom for those costs? Upon enquiry I'm only informed that the case will be escalated and they have 24 to 48 hours to respond...today is Thursday...so I'm gonna wait another week? It's been almost a month since I app**** for the service and still nothing...is this the type of service I can expext from Telkom going forward?
