Initial debit order for new contract not found!
After waiting 6 weeks for a phone and another 2 weeks for porting, I now find out that the initial debit order for the contract application cannot be found. I was told by the sales person that since I have taken a postpaid contract, this amount would be credited to my account. Today I ran out of the bundled airtime and as per my previous contracts I expected that my account would be charged for the additional calls...this is not the case..Telkom allows you R10 out of bundle airtime and then you have to call 180 to purchase an airtime bundle.I did this thinking that I already have credit and I can use this to buy airtime. I spoke to Eugene who through his incompetence or a Telkom system/accounts issue could not find the credit that I had initially bought.
TELKOM HAS TIME AND AGAIN DISAPPOINTED ME WITH THEIR AFTER SALES SERVICE. THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO HELLOPETER COMPLAINTS BUT RATHER USE AND AUTOMATED RESPONSE WITH A MEANINGLESS REFERENCE NUMBER. WITH MY PREVIOUS COMPLAINT I WAS CONTACTED ONE MONTH AFTER I MADE THE COMPLAINT.
MY ADVICE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM TELKOM!
