INFRASTRUCTURE And Overall Service

<p>My family has been trying to get a internet line with Telkom for </p> <p>4 years now. We are constantly being told that there is no infrastructure in our little area but there is in the rest of Mitchells Plain. I cannot understand why in the year 2016 and in the technology age at that, there is no infrastructure for a ADSL line. We are not livivng in the desert. On top of it all, we had a satelite type of phone in our home and decided to cancel it. we padi the amount due. after payment, Telkom could not pick up any amount. We were hounded for monies owed and i advised them that the payment was allocated to a account closed off years already, but they decided to hand us over in any case. After getting sick and tired of lawyer calls, we decided to just pay again. after the first part of the payment, Telkom realised that we had already paid and wanted tpo refund us. we decided to then take a mobile connection with them just to get a internet line. Telkom actually declined us due to a payment record that was their mistake and not ours. I am tottaly disgusted by Telkoms service to their clients and will make sure that none of my family members use them if they can help it.</p> <p> </p>
