Two Sundays ago, ( 29 Nov 2015) a Telkom technician came to fix a neighbours faulty line.
After he left my landline went dead. I reported the fault on Monday ( REF 622CRK301115).
Since then I have been phoning continuously but all the call centre operators tell me is that the matter is being attended to. How anything can possibly be seen to when it has not even been assigned to a techchnical repairs unit is beyond me. Eventually I pinned down a Nomisa who gave me an escalation number ( 792182) and agreed to copy an email to me that she had sent to her supervisor ( That was this past Saturday morning -
(5 Nov 2015) . As of today I have neither received a copy of the email nor has my landline been repaired.
I called the 10210 number, held on for 25 minutes for a Seyuree who accidently cut me off. I redialed the call centre and reached Teba who disclosed that a repair unit had been assigned to come out on 14 Dec 2015.
I was not happy with this situation and asked for my account to be closed. Teba agreed to sent me the forms I needed to complete. I repeated my email to him twice but by this evening still nothing was received.
Is there really a need for these call centres ?
