*********** Telkom lives up to its reputation

I was stupid enough to give in to Telkom's incessant and unrelenting daily calls begging me to sign up for a fibre deal. A month later, I am still waiting for the installation. How can a company this size not know how to execute an order and take it to completion? The order is still lost somewhere in cyber space, and no one at Telkom seems to know what the issue is. After being sent from pillar to post, countless escalations to all kinds of ghost teams and empty promises of calling me back, I cancelled the order. I will also cancel 2 household landlines (not sure why we still have these), and 4 cell contracts. They don't deserve anybody's business, especially after reading all the Hello Peter horror stories (thank you for sharing) and finding out how poorly they are performing as a company. Good riddance to the circus that is called Telkom.
