I had a land line with Telkom. I had a late payment so they suspended my line. I did however make two payments to clear the outstanding amounts. I then via their self help web site cancelled the line and received a notification that someone, probably a ghost, would contact me but never did. I was then harassed by Telkom and their Attorneys for the payment which I did not accept. NuDebt stopped their communications with me and now P&P Attorneys have been harassing me. The amount they say I owe is R998,59. I do not have a telephone line not since 2021 when I cancelled it. Telkom have not answered one of my emails and have not provided NuDebt with any information as to why. So from a zero balance they now want almost one thousand rand.
