Good day,

I had a couple of ntract with telkom for about 6years. I never missed a payment on any of my contracts.

One month i did mot get my salarybin time for my debit order to go off, which means my account bounced, the 7th of that month, i went to checkers with an invoice i got at the telkom branch to pay my account to date.

In the mean time i had sponken to numerous telkom employees in order to settle my account with telkom.

I received an email from telkom, with the settlement amount to pay in order to stop my contracts with telkom. I confirmed on the email if this amount includes the spesific months fee and they rep**** yes.

I paid this account in ful which was almost R27 000.00, not even 12 hrs after this has been paid, telkom swiched both m accounts to prepaid, which obviously means the account has been paid in full.

A month after thhat, they took a fee from my account again, i revursed the debit order, as i did nt have a contract with them due to the settlement was paid as per their emails.

Telkom gave me over to alpha collections, so ive send alllll the proof of payments and the proof of emailbwith what i had to pay, its almost a year after, and still nothing was sorted out with telkom. The times they the alpha collections and telkom phoned me they only said i had to pay, not once did any of these two parties do any investigation or even just take the time to go through the emails and the proof to see that i do not owe telkom any money.

Today the, 20th of september, someone who claims to be from alpha collections phoned me, being so rude to me, asking me if im aware that i owe telkom money. I said yes, but i do not owe them money as per the proof ive send to them, tbis lady did not even give me a fair chance to explain to her what the case was and just kept interrupting me saying you owe telkom money, you need to pay telkom. When i eventually told her to keep her mouth shut and listen to me, so that i can explain the just kept the phone on for a view seconds and then put the found down while i was talking to them.

This same alpha collections phone me, the phone rings once, when i try to answer the put the phone down, and then send me an sms to phone them back.

These people are so arrogant, i cant settle this amount and im about to be black listed for something that is not my fault or outstanding from my side.

When i asked the lady from alpha collections are they attorneys or dept collectors because i need someone to help me solve the problem, she got so rude and told me why should i tell you if were attorneys or not, you need to pay telkom.

What can i do to solve this. This is unacceptable and i cant sort this out with these invompetent and unhelpful service from both these places.

And since when does a dept collector or what ever they are talk so rude to someone who is trying to explain their point and giving them all proof they need.
