*********** consultant
Good day
I am very concerned and worried at the same time, and not so pleased on the consultant that contacted me a while back. I am not sure if that is how your consultants are trained to make money out of us or not. I firstly went to the Telkom store around me enquiring on an upgrade before my contract was due for an upgrade, I remember between the 16 – 19 April there was a guy that called me of which I cannot remember his name at the moment. He sold/ advertised the current special that was running then and I asked him if the price change will it be on the same rate every month and he confirmed yes. The below was sent on the 16 April 2018 @ 15:38

Good day, as per our records you recently renewed your ********** 857 mobile contract with Telkom. Based on this interaction, how likely are you to recommend Telkom to a friend or family member? Please respond with a number from 0 (Not at all likely) to 10 (Extremely likely). SMS charges may apply. 19 April 2018 @13:53
The consultant confirmed to me that I will be paying R291.97 by the 31.05.2018 of which I did now I am seeing a surprise on my statement stating I have to pay R791.97 how did that happen? AND WHO IS GOING TO PAY THAT AMOUNT? I guess it will be the consultant. On Friday the 06th I have been running around like a headless chicken in the mall trying to pay the account that was not debited I don’t know for what good reason this time, and the lady at Telkom in Vaal Mall told me that I will have to pay double because the payment did not process on the 30.07.2018 I then told her that is first time I hear of that because I was never told such things. On the very same day I called the Telkom customer care number wanting to ask how to pay because Telkom outlet in Vaal Mall said I need an Ezpay number or EFT and the customer care number is the one that can provide me with, when calling the number I was told the systems are down I have to call again after an hour of which I did and the Ref number that was provided to me is the same on the invoice and the Absa ATM declined the number I then called the customer care number again then the lady advised me to pay EFT I did but I was not sure where to send the proof of payment to because I was told the Ezpay number will take long for the payment to process. Please see attached proof of payment.
1. I need a feedback on false advertising that was done around April when one of your consultant gave me that call, remember calls are recorded according to him.
2. I need to know who is going to pay the double amount I was told with and for what.
3. I need to know who is going to pay the R791.97 that I don’t know of.
4. I need to know the outcome of the whole situation.
Furthermore please see attached proof of payment made on the 06.07.2018
Regards
Carol.
