Incompetence to a serious degree

In February i switched banks so i went into Telkom East Rand Mall store to give them my new banking information for my debit order of which they said i couldnt channge at the store and gave me an email address to send my new account information to plus a copy of my ID toof which i did.

So i assumed it was all changed for me to find out my account was suspended on the 1st April. On the 6th April i went into the Telkom East Rand Mall store to find out they had not changed my banking information. I then was able to change my banking details at the store and paid my overdue balance on my account same time at the store. They informed me it would take 24 hours to reflect payment.

After 2 days of waiting and my account still being suspended i phoned Telkom asked what was happening and they told me they havent seen proof of payment yet of which i then sent the proof of payment receit to the consultant i was talking to and said he would escalate the matter which will take 7-14 working days. I have phoned Telkom twice sent then and all they could say its been escalated.

i have now received a debit order from Telkom for R2100 while my account has been suspended for over 2 months and my balance has been paid. This is absolutely ludacris. Not once has Telkom tried to contact me regarding the matter. i paid my account in full in the 1st week of April and it is now 1st week of June and my account is still suspended, i have not been contacted, turn around time is 5 times what the allowed limit is on escalation and my bill just keeps rocketing up every month. I will be contacting my lawyers.
