incompetence

In april 2015 we requested for our telkom ADSL product ot be cancelled as we have opted to go to a different ISP.

Following numerous follow ups and promises of the cancellation having been done we saw it going off on our bill again for January 2017. Thus, 21 months of inaction

We called again on Thursday 16th of January.

The result being that our ADSL product, line rental and telephone line of 9 years, being cancelled.

Today I am told by Phindile that it is standard Telkom practice to make a line with an outstanding balance older than 24 hours available to the public again.

Thus, I lost my telephone number of nine years.

No notice, no record of the outstanding balance, nothing.

I suspect you are trying to shift the responsibility and blame for your mistake onto a client.

Anyway. I requested the outstanding balance and made payment while still on the line with Phindile and asked for the services to be reinstated and my business number to be allocated back to me.

Only to be informed that this will take 14 working days and I'll get my number back IF it isn't allocated to someone else in the meantime.

I fear that you may have heard that something you've don is 'unacceptable' so many times that it's lost all it's gravity.
