Inability to make or keep appointments

<p>Telkom made an appointment with me for today, the 14th of September 2016, to install my new phone line. This was confirmed yesterday with Telkom's online Chat Support. I chatted to someone in Sales and they gave me a time of 7:30 to 12:30 today. My wife took half a day off from work and waited for Telkom at my house from 7:30 till 12:30. She then had to extend her leave from work and waited a bit longer for Telkom. She didn't want to leave because we have been waiting for this installation from the 1st of August. At around 14:30, no one had shown up yet. She chatted with sales on the online chat and they then told her that it was scheduled for an entire day, ie 7:30 till 4pm. So they conveniently changed their appointment time. It is now 18:24 and no one has showed up.</p> <p> </p> <p>Telkom obviously has no regard for professional people's time and they treat their customers with disrepect by not even showing up for an appointment. I received no phone calls or notifications from anyone. My wife took time off from a VERY busy work schedule only to find that it was in vain. Telkom has my cell phone number and I have given them my cell phone number on numerous occasions, but still no communication. All this time, I have been paying for a Telkom line which I still do not have. I am very disgusted and extremely disappointed that companies like Telkom care very litttle for their paying customers. </p>
