Impossible to close Telkom account

I have been trying to close my telkom fixed line and adsl account and it is almost impossible. Besides the 30 day notice period, no one at Telkom can confirm that the cancellation has been received and when the effective cancellation date (and final invoice) will be!!

shocking service from Telkom once again, needless to say, the reason to close the account is self explanatory
