Impossible to apply for a landline

I can not believe how difficult it is to apply for a landline from Telkom. I have been trying since last week to apply for a landline. I have tried your website, which does not work properly. I tried to call, couldn't get through, decided to visit your store in Brits Mall on Saturday, only to be told they do not handle landline and I have to go to Rustenburg or Pretoria. Really?? Can someone please call me and let me know if you are interested in providing me with a landline or if I should rather look at alternative options??
