******* DEBITS ON MY ACCOUNT!

My internet-5 promo expired in November 2013. I continued utilizing the contract on a month to month contract.

On 7 December 2015, I visited the Telkom Bayside Branch to cancel the subscription. I completed the cancellation form and received a case number. The last debit order should have been at the end of January 2016.

A debit order was still deducted off my account at the end of February. I went into the Tygervalley Branch on 21 March to query this, and the consultant said that the request had not been processed properly. She put through another request and asked them to expedite it. I then stopped the debit order through my online banking profile and reversed the debit from end of February.

However every month a Naedo Tracking Debit comes off my account. I know that I'm going to battle to get this money refunded, so I try not leave any funds in that account. Yet the minute funds enter the account - a Telkom Naedo Track is deducted. I then have go into the bank and have it reversed. All of these ******* debits are costing money in bank charges.

On 20 July a Naedo Track of R597 went through and then another one of R597 went through this morning.

This contract is expired! I cancelled my month to month subscription 7 months ago. The notice period was given and yet I'm still be charged for something I'm not using!

Everytime I follow up or post a comment the Telkom Facebook Page, I get told that they will investigate and provide feedback.

Nothing is happening, and I'm starting to feel that this is a battle i'm not going to win. I'm sick and tired of companies like Telkom having the power that they do and that the end user is not able to control what goes on.

It seems that the only solution I have is to close my bank account in order to get away from their ******* debiting.

I'm going to lay a complaint with ICASA.
