Ignore Telkom letters of demand/ final warnings/ threats of legal action!!!!

Cancelled Telkom line 23/9/2020, request received according to text. 7/10/2020 got notification " request in progress'. Moved house 1/10/2020. May 2021 letter of demand from P&P attorneys followed by several other threats of legal action. We contacted Telkom 14/6/2021 and was told the only way we could now cancel was to pay the 'outstanding " R5136 ( we are pensioners!) We incurred this outrageous expense because of the incompetence of Telkom and not due to any lack of action on our part. I demand a refund as Telkom did not act on my instructions
