Ignore emails, refusAl to cancel contract

Via their online chat facility telkom informs me that even though I am willing to pay the remaining month on my contract they refuse to change my sim over to prepaid. I don't see how this is fair? Nevertheless been told to submit cancellation forms which I've done and been blatantly ignored. Not even an acknowledgement of receipt

Per Yazied who provided no contacts details I would receive feedback. Still nothing. Telkom please be aware that this contract will be cancelled one way or another. Should u decide to stuff me around some more and ensure that I miss the January specials at another service provider this will only incite me more and you will lose my other Contract as well. Would you like me to take this up with the national consumer council?

No I cannot change the complaints to a compliment. You people have still not listened to a word I've said. Please take note that I have been in contact with your consultant Stacey Lee Du Plessis who is now ignoring my mails. I wanted this contract cancelled and the sim changed over to Prepaid BEFORE end Jan or at the very least beginning feb as the phone is now freezing and battery dying 3 or 4 times a day and I do not feel that telkom offers packages that suit my needs anymore to so an upgrade. You have now ensured that I cannot take advantage of the January specials offered by the other service providers. Per Stacey lees mails it was first claimed that the cancellation and change over of the sim could be done immediately if I pay R800 penalty. This was tgen retracted and I was told the sim will only be changed over on 11 feb. So please decide which it is as you people can't het you story straight. Furthermore if you maintain that it can only be changed over on 11 feb, I would take that as refusal to cancel which to my knowledge is against the cpa? Furthermore I thought the penalty was supposed to be fair and in proportion to the remainder of the contract? I have already been billed/invoiced for 24 device instalments. Of my R400 monthly subscription the device instalment was R300 pm. With less than a month left per yourselves how then is R800 fair?

In addition I have asked Stacey multiple times to effect the cancellation of the contract on my other number for the tablet as your service is shocking, these requests have been blatantly ignored.

So no I cannot change anything as nothing has really been resolve
