Identity duplicate case issue have hampered effort for me to be to get micro sim & legit funeral cover from telkom

<p>I have been victim of home affairs identity loss after three years my birth cirtificate was issued ,only when to find out when I was applying ID Book on 2011 found out I have been non existing for years as my identity numbers was assigned to someone else on 1996,Now have Metric Certificate belong to someone else when judging by ID number but names & Certificate it belong to me,this took another tall when I tried to change telkom reca Identity number as have my own identity number now,even if I submited ID book copy with affidivatity for weeks now without any progress totally ,previosely rejected printed letter from home affairs saying not solid,now even if I submited what they requested for department referred as invistigation.Next step clearly to start afresh and hope they will take steps in updating system ,After this experience would recommend parents to make random check of their childrens birth certificate number or encourage early ID book application</p>
