I you are thinking of getting into bed with Telkom, DON'T!!! If you already are in bed with them, GOOD LUCK GETTING RID OF THEM!!

So get this. Apparently Telkom decided to stop service on our problematic copper lines and decided to send me LTE phone and sim at their own discretion. The first monthly bill thereafter, the subscription had increased by more than R270p/m. If the service and downtime was better I would've accepted this but data on the line was non existent, phone calls were breaking up and dropped, basically a once problematic copper line was then replaced by an even worse LTE service. So I decided to cancel the service with Telkom completely. 20 days after my cancellation request I received an email confirming the cancelation from their side. Great!! Service was discontinued but then the billing issues started. I received a bill after the cancelation which I paid, because they might have had a delay in billing period... but then another bill arrived. Again I paid, 2 months after service was ceased. Another 2 bills came the following months which I refused to pay. Not long after that the threatening sms's and emails started rolling in from Nudebt collections. I've tried explaining to NuDebt why I was not willing to pay bills received after my service was ceased but no reply has ever been received from them.
