I took a surprise contract for my wife and they will not take the phone back as its under 24 hours that i took out the contract and never touch the phone after the sales consultant gave it to me.

To whom it may concern. I ,Riyad Barmania (ID ********** 074083) bought my wife an IPhone 8 yesterday which will be the 01 November 2017. This was a surprise for her and a early birthday present as well. When I arrived home she come home from work and told me guess what. The work bought me a Apple iPhone 8+. This is without seeing my telkom contract phone as yet. I then showed her my gift (iPhone 8) and then realised this was a waist. I then went looking into Telkom's T & C where I noticed there is a 20 working days cooling off period. I then call the call centre to and they advised me to take the phone back to the Telkom which I bought it from as I did not use the phone at all. I have 9 contracts with Telkom and this IPhone would be my 10th contract. I was in the Telkom store and was advised by the manager which was extremely helpful he does not have any paper work and he does not know what to do. As a individual this is my CPA Right to have a cooling off period. I am extremely happy with Telkom but I find it hard that I was told the Call centre has a CPA but not in store. Please advise where I must drop the phone off as I do not want this contract anymore as this contract was taken out under 24 hours ago. Please advise.
