I took a cellphone contract in June 2021 from Telkom of R859. In 2023 Telkom handed over my account to VVM attorney regarding my overdue account. I submitted my proof of payments as requested & enquired about my statement that reflects the 1st day debit order that went through, they failed to do so. I was than again handed over to another company called P&P Attorneys regarding the same account. P&P Attorney could only provide me with a statement from May 2023 & June reflects I owe R8710 which was re-adjusted to R7267. I picked up that Telkom statement reflects an Amount of R910 not R859 I paid a total of R10000 in the last 36 months using the eft reference as they were debiting more than the contract agreement. Am concerned about Telkom procedures and feel ****med knowing very well their consultants cannot assist telephonically and in store nor do they attend to any enquires wrt double payment penalties and over charging on their services.
