I NEED MY NUMBER BACK, NOW!!!!!

After losing my phone I went to a Telkom store to do a sim swap. The computer system could not pick up my thumb prints and i was told that they need to log a case to resolve this issue. They said it takes 72 HOURS to resolve this and in the mean time i am unable to use my number. How am I suppose to stay for 3 days without my number which i use for business? The number is also linked to my emails and at the moment i can not access my emails until this number starts working. Not to mention the attitude that I get every time I ask to escalate the matter.
