I can't cancel my account
Hi, to who decides to read the following.
I cancelled my telkom fixed line on the 09 Oct 2017 using their online page: https://apps.telkom.co.za/fulfilment/protected/cancelProduct I've been calling, webchatting and emailing their consultants and no one knows what's going on with my cancellation request. With effect of 11 Nov 2017.
I have been told that my issue is being escalated time after time - last I was told it'll take 7 working days (or 72 hours) that was 11/08/2017. Today is 04/12/2017
I am really struggling to come to a resolution.

30 Jan 2018, 12:39Ms N, I received a call before the 16 Dec. The very friendly lady I spoke to explained that the cancellation request has finally went through. I asked her how much this will be and she confirmed that there will be no charges at all. On the 16 Dec, 8.57 I received a cancellation SMS. I have called the phone number at home to check if this number is active - and I get number doesn't exist.
I received an SMS on Thursday stating that I owe R 162.65, I was not billed for the Dec & Nov yet I'm receiving this & this is really confusing. As I am to pay for a service I had closed months ago.
Could you please explain this?
And thank you for the response.
