I bought a pocket ru...

I bought a pocket rutor in February so that i can use it for work, the rutor is not working nor is it connecting on my lap top including my phone i buy data on on the rutor every month data for R300 but when i try to do my work or connect to the internet it says no internet but the when i check the remaining data it's still a lot, i went to mall of Tembisa on the 3rd of April to report this and the consultants Junior and Katlego told me they can't help me or do anything about it i should but myself a new router because I'm not on contract I'm on prepaid, i was never told this before, i mean any item has a warranty period which is up to 3 or 6 months I bought this rutor in February why can't it be replaced? What about the money I paid for it?
