I am having a cell phone contract with Telkom since 2022 September

I am having a cell phone contract with Telkom since 2022 September.In 2024 September i apply for an upgrade,i later realised that i would not afford.i Returned the device the following day and provided them with the information with the help of the sales person.October they locked my services,i have been calling them almost everyday for them to clear my name because now i am getting calls from their lawyers saying i owe Telkom over R33000.Today i get a message from Credit Bureau.
