How to ruin your day: Go to Telkom Cresta branch

If you’re looking for a way to ruin your day, the most perfect way would be to go to Telkom (Cresta) branch. The service has always been bad ( exceptionally bad) but this time around we just dread having to go to the branch.

Today we went to fetch a modem as instructed by the TELKOM technician who advised us to specifically go fetch it from the Cresta branch as he installed the ADSL connection at our home. HOWEVER after waiting in a queue to be assisted by a lady who could only advise us that she had escalated the case as the technician had not “closed” the case so she couldn’t help us. Let’s be honest she didn’t try to help us or understand our issue because I asked her to get the modem hand delivered to us cos the issue was not on our part! She politely said that that would most probably NOT happen. After I asked her who I can lay complaint with, she rep**** with “anyone”

So I repeat this, if you want to have a bad day go to Telkom the Cresta branch. If you have heart or anger problems, please don’t go there cos they will test the hell out of your patience?.
