How to keep South Africans gainfully employed through bad service.

I left SA late last year. The last thing I did was close my Telkom account. Luckily for me, Telkom wanted to ensure that I stay in touch with the country so instead of actually closing the account, they just let the account run, and run, and run, and run... Finally in February this year, they decided to write my "debt off" as bed debt and report this to Trans Union. In doing so, Telkom ensures their invoice department gets to print many more invoices, the debt recovery department gets to send many letters (not sure where they sent mine but that is not the point) and they even ensure the people at Trans Union remain gainfully employed. I applaud you for going the extra mile to try and keep your economy afloat. Bravo and thanks for being the first company in 15 years of me having a credit record, to actually write something on it worth reading.
