How to get protection for the consumer against Telkom taking advantage of their consumers.

Telkom is becoming the worst LTE service provider in SA as you cant even stream one device with Netflix on the lowest quality and use the internet on another device. Started from March, i am sitting with no internet at all currently. I would like to know if their are any protection for the consumer when they pay for a service and product and get bound to a contract and the product and the service goes bad that you can terminate the contract and if not how can we protect the consumer from being taken advantage of.
