How can you charge me for a suspended service?

Good day,

My service has been suspended due to some unforeseen expenses on the 1st of April. Hence I was disconnected. Today I receive a invoice for the balance that is outstanding that I know of plus a months subscription for a service I did not receive as my account was suspended. How can you charge me for a service I did not get since my account is suspended? I do not have a contract with you and I am on a month to month basis. If you keep this up I will never get up to date? I am planning on paying the R3100 invoice I received for the service I received and a reconnection at the end of June when my savings is paid out. But if you keep invoicing me for a service I am not receiving this is just wrong. if DSTV suspends me they don't charge me for a subscription I am not getting. How can you charge me for internet for April and May if I have been disconnected and suspended. Please come back to me on this. If needed cancel my account with you and I will re-apply after the balance has been paid or I will get a service provider that actually deliver what I pay for as I have had non stop issues with you while paying for something that doesn't work as it should for more than a year.
