Horrible service

I've had a sim for 4 years with telkom, I left the country and Landed in SA. Sim card does not register with network anymore. Needed to do a sim swap in order for my phone to work again. Does that mean a sim swap is needed on every landing back in SA. Staff are completely unhelpful and ***********.
