Hitting Your Head Against A Wall!

I needed to terminate my Telkom account - (landline and ADSL). I filled out the required form, and attached it to an email together with my certified ID. The Telkom website tells you what was required for you to send, to which email address and to wait 20 working days till termination would be done. That I did on the 18th September 2017. After the 20 days were over and I was still connected and received another bill, I called Telkom and inquired about my termination, the man I spoke to in the accounts department, said there was nothing reflecting on my account that I had sent in the form. I was told to send it again, but to his personal email address and he would sort it out. I had unfortunately, lost all my emails when my laptop crashed so it was like starting over again, I had no way to forward that first email. I resent the form and ID to the email address he gave me ********** - that was on the 6th November. In the mean time, I have received a 3rd account and have been threatened to be cut off if I don't pay. But, no one has cut the telephone off yet! I am a pensioner and do not have much work. I needed to cancel with Telkom as I cannot afford to pay their high price. I have supported Telkom for many, many, years and this is how they treat you?? What is one supposed to do? It's like hitting your head against a brick wall! I have seen hundreds of the same complaint as mine and that some of them go on for years and the accounts keep on coming!!! Well Done Telkom, you are at the bottom of everyone's list.

Reviewer Update
So, almost a year later, Telkom replies to my review and wants to know if my query has been sorted. Really Telkom, this must be a joke?
