Hellkom - the saga of the never-fixed line

We have been without a business line for 3 and a half weeks now. You keep marking the problem as "line restored" -3rd time! Still no line. Unacceptable!

The first few times we had no technician visit us but after a few days of reporting the fault, we would receive an sms stating that the fault had been "restored". The line remained dead. Your office in Cape Town even phoned to find out why the number has been reported 5 times. On Friday, we saw our first technician, a man named Sarel, he declared that there was definitely a fault and disappeared to look at "the outside box". That was the last we saw of him. Yesterday, we received ANOTHER sms saying that the fault has been restored.......................it has not been restored. We have reported the line/fault AGAIN and have received yet another reference number. The line is as dead as a door nail, if you attempt to phone it - it rings on the caller's side, nothing on ours. The ADSL line works. This is a business line. I've never had a problem with Telkom before but this service is unacceptable!!!!! FIX THE LINE ASAP please ! The last time we reported it, we were told, sorry, "lead time of sending a technician is a week". I've honestly had enough and have lost my patience with this matter and have now resorted to this website and Twitter in order to hopefully get some help.

Regards

Andre

Thank you. The line has been fixed, however, I would say that there is clearly something wrong with your automatic fault-checking system on your side. I can't understand any other reason why I would receive a minimum of 4 sms's telling me that the fault had been fixed when in fact it had not been fixed.
I do however appreciate the response to my post on this website and the fact that you responded so rapidly to my post on this website.
