Hellkom again!!

<p>Due to Telkom's lack of service I had to cancel my ADSL line. I then made the stupid mistake of getting a wireless LTE contract with wait for it.......TELKOM!!. Firstly I could not get an uncapped package because it was sold out. I then opted for the 50gig package in October 2016. The LTE is suppose to be very fast but the fastest speed I ever got was 4.3mbs. I then decided to try and upgrade to an uncapped package hoping this willincrease the speed. I had to wait for three months before I could upgrade and once I did I got fined R1000 for migration without being told! I am now getting speeds of 1.2mbs - 3.4mbs!! I reported it and a technician came out to test my reception as I requested an outdoor antenna. The technician confirmed that it is not a problem on my side but a problem at the Telkom tower. That is where it remained and it is over 2 months down the line again and I am so frustrated.</p> <p> </p> <p>My questions are:</p> <p>Seeing that Telkom is in breach of contract can I sue?</p> <p>Is there other clients sitting with the same problem that might be interested in joining in a class action?</p> <p>Can I sue for loss of income as I am an accounant and completely dependant on a reasonable, as promissed, internet connection?</p> <p>Is there any alternative at a reasonable price that is not running through Hellkom?</p>
