Helkom not Telkom

<p>Eversince I signed up with Telkom LTE a year ago it has been a real pain, firstly because it is impossible to find anyone to speak to once you've signed up over the phone, never do that! Then once everything was up and running, and I was assured that I can change data package at any stage that was untrue as sales person was badly trained and uninformed.</p> <p>After a few months of waiting to change package I was assured that I can upgrade to uncapped at any stage, also not true! Then I the download speeds deteriorated and is now so slow that it takes me half and hour to download one average episode?!?! I did speed tests only to realist that the speed varies between 2 and 4 Mbps and not near 90mbps as promised , although I agree "up to" is a ***** way for them to get around it.</p> <p>I app**** for cancellation of my contract 6 weeks ago only to find out that they want to charge me R1500 cancellation fee, not considering that their service agreement has not been met from their side?! AND even though I have done everything humanly possible to escalate this cancellation not is getting back to me on anything and now one can assist?!</p> <p>trust me when I say, stay away from Telkom as far away as you can and never be fooled by their clever marketing, once you're signed up its downhill all the way!</p>
