Helkom is their worthy name

<p>I am from the UK but live here part time. In all 3 houses I have lived in our internet has gone on and off, speeds up and down almost continuously over 6 month periods. We call, report a fault (their online and SMS system were both down), they possibly fix things for an hour or 2 and it goes down again. I seem to spend half my life calling Telkom, logging faults, getting them fixed, the net going down again. I am utterly astonished that this monopoly is allowed to exist as an organisation. They are utterly *********** and I have had better internet in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Tanzania than South Africa which is embarrassing really, I work from home and this has serious implications on my work. Sort it out Helkom, there's a reason people call you this.</p>
