having problems with our line for the last 8 months

our line and internet is down every 2 weeks and we have to log a new call to the call centre for the last 8 months and it is not acceptable . they send a technician out and then it works again and then at least a week then it is not working again. why can't a technician go ahead and fix it once and for all
